The Marble townof the Arts is one dream and realization of the sculptor Ivan Rusev. The idea about it arise at the beginning of 90`s. The sculpture realization as a separate object in the Sculpture Park Ilindentci starts in 2005 with constructing of the "First street of the Arts”. For the first time in 2006 and 2007 in the summer Art actions of Art center Ilindentci Foundation took part painters. Theirs works have been exhibited on this street.
In the Marble town presents the emblematic to Ivan Rusev "cutting" columns, called by him “singing stones". In these columns are getting a special membranes, from which when they are touched with metal stick generates out a character sounds. This original music already is mixed by the Bulgarian composer Nikolay Madjarov.
In 2007 starts constructing of the “Second street of the Arts” and “entering” into the hill with trend to be formed and more deep caves.
The development of the project continues with the third street of the arts.
